   Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress

The bomber that became famous flying with the Mighty 8th Air Force in WW2.  A total of 12,677 B-17's were built for the U.S.A.A.F.

Our 2010 survey of flying B-17's puts the total at just 10 worldwide with SEVEN of these currently offering rides in the United States !

   Consolidated B-24 Liberator

Built in greater numbers in the United States than any other bomber, the B-24 Liberator served in many operational roles in WW2.

Of the 18,188 aircraft built, just two Liberators are airworthy today. The amazing fact is .....  you can fly in both of them !

   North American B-25 Mitchell

Made famous by the Doolittle raid on Tokyo in 1942, no less than 9,816 B-25 Mitchell's were built for the U.S.A.A.F.

Our B-25 list doesn't include all today's surviving airframes.  We concentrate on listing the ones that currently offer rides or on display in museums.
